Kick-οff meeting in Barcelona |
The 6G-DALI project was launched with its kick-off meeting hosted by IQUADRAT Informatica in Barcelona. All partners attended in person to align on priorities and next steps, with support from SNS JU Programme Officer Tambiama Madiega. |

6G-DALI’s
Technical Achievemens
in the first semester include:
- the initial design of architectural facets
- the definition of workflow models
- identification of core requirement scenarios
- a complete “Description of the PoCs” defining the associated KPIs
- identification of significant market opportunities
- creation of a Business Model Canvas (BMC)
- preliminary assessment of the three PoCs with respect to the societal dimensions, including inter-alia ethics, regulatory and societal pain points.
- identification of the key value indicators (KVIs) which lay the foundation for the next stages of the development process

From February 4–7, 2025, the 6G-DALI project was presented at Integrated Systems Europe (ISE) 2025, one of the leading global events for integrated systems, held in Barcelona. Hosted at IQUADRAT’s booth, the project team introduced 6G-DALI, highlighting its objectives, technological innovations, and its potential to shape the future of intelligent 6G networks. |

The 6G-DALI project was showcased at the ETSI Artificial Intelligence Conference, where Takai Eddine K. (VIAVI Solutions) introduced its advanced AI framework for 6G data spaces. The project’s approach to AI-driven, secure, and interoperable networks aligns with ETSI’s GAIA-X vision for future digital infrastructures. |

At MWC 2025 in Barcelona, the 6G-DALI project highlighted its innovative approach to AI-driven 6G networks and data spaces. Representatives engaged with the SNS JU team to discuss key achievements and Europe’s future connectivity ambitions. The visit of Greece’s Minister of Digital Governance, Dimitris Papastergiou, underscored the project’s importance in advancing digital innovation across Europe. |

From Theory to Practice”- Educational Event at the University of Patras |
The “6G: From Theory to Practice” event at the University of Patras introduced students to AI, XAI, and their real-world applications in modern networks. With live demos of VR and Generative AI over 5G and beyond, the event featured active involvement from 6G-DALI and other leading 6G projects. |

6G-DALI at BEYOND Expo 2025 |
At BEYOND Expo 2025, the 6G-DALI project featured prominently in sessions organized by the General Secretariat for Research and Innovation. Led by coordinator Prof. Christos Verykoukis, the team shared key insights on AI and Machine Learning for 6G, including advances in experimentation platforms by technical manager Vasileios Theodorou. Contributions from other team members enriched the discussions on next-generation network technologies. |
